Rising Card

The Rising Card is a trick I saw famous David Blaine perform, so I replicated what I saw in the short video. I also learned how to double lift a card. I do the trick by pretending to slip the selected card in the middle, when I am actually putting it underneath the top card. I then do a double lift to make it seem like the selected card has risen to the top. Finally, I take the top card and insert it in the middle since the spectator thinks it's the selected card, before revealing that the selected card is at the top once again. trying to sell the illusion that the card was going in the middle was difficult, and I had to pretend to push out cards from the middle to really sell it.
